This
is the about page for the CyberScriptorium.
What
is a CyberScriptorium you may ask.
Though we are not a religious order, the name
sums-up quite well what we do here. A scriptorium
is traditionally the place in an abbey or a monastery
that was used to gather, copy, write, or illuminate
manuscripts.
What
we do here is gather, normalize, and organize
information from the web and other sources. Thus making
it easier to be used by our benefactor's. At this point
we are working strictly in the field of Operating
System research, design, and implementation
on X86 hardware, from the hobbyist's perspective.
Currently
the only publicly accessable area is a search page.
The page will do a keyword search on the OSD links list
being assembled by members of the
alt.os.development
news group.
